ISRO has taken precautions and learned from the mistakes of the Chandrayaan-2 mission, strengthening the legs of the Vikram lander and conducting rigorous testing. ISRO is prioritizing a smooth landing and will delay if necessary, even though it may result in a loss of four Earth days for rover and lander operations.
